Outside Rear View Mirror. Repair procedures

Replacement
  
•
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
  
•
When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
•
Take care not to scratch the body surface.
1.
Remove the front door trim.
(Refer to Front door - "Front Door Trim")
2.
Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the outside rear view mirror inner cover (A).

3.
Press the lock pin, separate the outside rear view mirror connector (A).

4.
Loosen the mounting nuts and clip, remove the outside rear view mirror (A).
Tightening torque :
6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1kgf.m , 5.1 - 8.0 lb-ft)

5.
To install, reverse removal procedure.

Make sure the connector is connected properly.

Replacement
[ECM Mirror]
  
•
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
1.
Remove the ECM mirror cover (A).

2.
Remove the rain sensor cover (A).

3.
Disconnect the ECM mirror connector (A).

4.
Loosen the mounted screws and push the ECM mirror base upward to remove the ECM mirror assembly (A).

5.
To install, reverse removal procedure.
  
•
Make sure the connector is connected properly.
•
Be careful not to damage the windshield glass.

Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

Loosen the mounting screw and remove the inside rear view mirror assembly (A).

2.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
