Replacement

[Hood upper latch assembly]
1.
After loosening the mounting bolts, then remove the hood upper latch assembly (A).

Tightening torque :
7.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

2.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Make sure the hood latch release cable is connected properly.
Make sure the hood locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
Adjust the latch alignment.
[Hood lower latch assembly]
1.
Remove the front bumper cover.
2.
Remove the hood lower latch assembly (A) mounting bolts.

Tightening torque :
7.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

3.
Disconnect the hood lower latch connector (A).

4.
Disconnect the hood latch release handle cable (B) and remove the hood lower latch assembly (A).

5.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Make sure the hood latch release cable is connected properly.
Make sure the hood locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
Adjust the latch alignment.
