Removal

2WD
1.
Remove the rear wheel and tire (A) from rear hub .
Tightening torque:
88.2 ~ 107.8 N.m (9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 79.5 lb-ft)
Be careful not to damage to the hub bolts when removing the rear wheel and tire (A).

2.
Support the rear lower arm (A) with a jack as shown in the illustration.
Certainly install Jack as being danger because of the tension.

3.
Loosen the bolt (A-1ea) and then remove the rear shock absorber cover (B).
Tightening torque:
5.9 ~ 9.8 N.m (0.6 ~ 1.0 kgf.m, 4.3 ~ 7.2 lb-ft)

4.
Remove the rear wheel guard.
5.
Loosen the bolt (A,B) & nut (C) and then remove the rear shock absorber bracket (D).
Tightening torque:
Bolts :
(A) 137.3 ~ 159.9N.m (14.0 ~ 16.0kgf.m, 101.3 ~ 115.7lb-ft)
(B) 88.2 ~ 107.8 N.m (9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 79.5 lb-ft)
Nuts :
(C) 88.2 ~ 107.8 N.m (9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 79.5 lb-ft)

6.
Loosen the nut (A) and then remove the rear shock absorber (B).
Tightening torque:
137.3 ~ 159.9N.m (14.0 ~ 16.0kgf.m, 101.3 ~ 115.7lb-ft)

4WD
1.
Remove the rear wheel and tire (A) from rear hub .
Tightening torque:
88.2 ~ 107.8 N.m (9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 79.5 lb-ft)
Be careful not to damage to the hub bolts when removing the rear wheel and tire (A).

2.
Support the rear lower arm (A) with a jack as shown in the illustration.
Risk due to the spring tension to Honor Jack definitely fixed.

3.
Loosen the bolt (A-1ea) and then remove the rear shock absorber cover (B).
Tightening torque:
5.9 ~ 9.8 N.m (0.6 ~ 1.0 kgf.m, 4.3 ~ 7.2 lb-ft)

4.
Loosen the bolt (A) & nut (B) and then remove the rear shock absorber (C).
Tightening torque:
Bolt (A) : 137.3 ~ 159.9N.m (14.0 ~ 16.0kgf.m, 101.3 ~ 115.7lb-ft)
Nut (B) : 88.2 ~ 107.8 N.m (9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 79.5 lb-ft)

5.
Check the rear alignment.

Inspection

1.
Check the rubber parts for damage or deterioration.
2.
Check the shock absorber for abnormal resistance or unusual sounds.

Installation

1.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
After checking the distance(445±10mm(17.5197±0.3937in.)) between the wheel housing garnish (A) and the hub assembly (B) as shown in the illustration, tighten the mounting bolts and nuts of rear chassis part with specified torque.
